As a lifelong baseball player Greg decided to feed his competitive nature in high school and ended up lettering in 3 sports (Baseball Football Swimming) as well as spending two years on the Rugby club and one year in wrestling. After a semester at Kent State University he soon realized that baseball was not going to work out for him and it was time to move on in life. As he walked down a hall at Frostburg State University the football coach called him over and told him he was going to play for them…so he did. After three seasons and an All ACFC honor it was time to hang up the cleats.

    Feeling like he was missing part of him without football, Greg decided to ask a local high school team if they needed any help on their coaching staff. After 6 months of learning how to coach from one of the best coaching staffs in Maryland football he assisted the team as they won a State Championship.  He coached one more year on that staff leaving with a combined record of 20-5 and multiple student athletes moving on to college.

    Pushing near 400 pounds Greg had a feeling that if he wanted to live a decent life he needed to get into the gym again and get back to it. After a few months training at a local gym and seeing minimal results he decided to reach out to a local CrossFit owner to see what it was all about. After the first 10 minute workout, he never looked back.
