 In Athlete of the Month

“I was born in VA and moved to the area to play college football. After college, I stayed to work as a Baltimore city police officer. I was involved in two life threatening accidents which crushed my legs, ribs, collapsed a lung, broke my transverse prosthesis (lower back) in three places, and was basically told by doctors that I would never walk again. Eh, I’ve always been stubborn, so I kept trying. Then last year in the middle of September, my wife and I took a Crossfit class. That was all it took for me and I’ve been fighting to get back ever since.  Crofton Crossfit gave me back some of my athleticism. I’ve gained strength and the confidence to take on bigger challenges. The physical pain that I was used to living with has diminished (except muscle soreness). I hope to be able to “compete” next year. All the coaches are awesome! Your help and motivation is greatly appreciated! Thanks for the support!!!”
