Just want to give a big congrats again from this weekends MAAC challenge/Weightlifting, and also to Sarah who just passed a PT test involving a bunch of strict pull-ups… with a 45# vest! She has trained hard for this for money so cannot say how proud I am of her!

 

“STRENGTH”

BASIC:

A. Hang Squat Snatch 5.5.5

B. Back Squat 3×5

 

COMPETITOR:

A.Seg Snatch Grip DL 5.5.5.5.5

B.Front Squat  8 sets @ 80% max

C.Squat Snatch 20 reps @ 135/95# AFAP

 

“WOD”

“Nate”

20 minute AMRAP:

2 Muscle Ups

4 HSPU

8 KBS

 

GOALS:

BASIC: Work up each set, try to set a PR from previous.

COMPETITOR: Same as last week, work up. C should be burner, scale as needed

WOD: Classic benchmark! This involved a LOT of scale downs but will be a big upper body day. Have fun and challenge yourself!
